What is Sportivnaya Panorama?

Sportivnaya Panorama, Спортивная панорама, is a sports newspaper with a website at sportpanorama.by. The site's footer names the publisher as “Учреждение "Редакция газеты "Спортивная Панорама"” and gives an address on проспект Победителей in Minsk.[1]

Its own page cites “Свидетельство о государственной регистрации средства массовой информации N 241, выданное Министерством информации Республики Беларусь”, a certificate of state registration as a mass medium issued by the Ministry of Information.[2] That is the outlet's own statement; the Ministry of Information's register itself could not be read.

The Ministry of Sport lists the publisher among its subordinate organisations. Its page headed “Иные подчиненные организации” names, among others, the Национальное антидопинговое агентство, the Белорусский государственный университет физической культуры and the Чижовка-Арена, and gives the entry “Учреждение "Редакция газеты "Спортивная панорама"”, with an address at пр-т Победителей, 23/1, Minsk, the website sportpanorama.by and Владимир Александрович Зданович as its head.[6] The newspaper's own page names him as editor-in-chief: “Главный редактор: Зданович Владимир Александрович”.[2]

What does Sportivnaya Panorama cover?

The site describes its content as “Результаты последних матчей по футболу, хоккею, биатлону, теннису и других соревнований”. Its sections include hockey, biathlon, cross-country skiing, speed skating, football, swimming, athletics, basketball, cycling, Formula 1, beach football, combat sports, winter sports and rowing.[1]

Its items of 23 and 24 September 2026 included “Хоккеисты минского «Динамо» потерпели поражение от московского «Динамо (3:4, в овертайме)” and “Антон Смольский и Ксения Воробей – победители спринтерских гонок чемпионата Беларуси по биатлону”.[1] Those are two days' items.

[1] Those are three days' items.

Its subscription page states that the newspaper “с 1 июля 2026 года выходит 1 раз в неделю по вторникам”: from 1 July 2026 it appears once a week, on Tuesdays.[3]

How large is Sportivnaya Panorama's audience?

No audited readership, circulation or web-audience figure for the newspaper was retrieved, and its own pages retrieved print no circulation.[2][3]

Its subscription page gives the terms on which it is sold: for individuals, index 63128 at 28 roubles a month, or index 64314 at a reduced 150 roubles for six months; for organisations, index 631282 at 85 roubles a month or index 63380 at 500 roubles for six months; and an electronic version, index 30095, at 20 roubles a month. It names Belpochta, belpost.by, the ERIP payment system and belpressa.by as channels of subscription.[3] Those are the terms on the page on 25 September 2026.

The President's portal counts “840 printed mass media (349 newspapers, 480 magazines, 11 bulletins), including 375 state-run media outlets and 465 private media outlets”, printing the date as “As of 1 April 20256”, without naming them.[4]

Since when has Sportivnaya Panorama existed?

The newspaper traces itself to an earlier title. Its page names the newspaper Физкультурник Белоруссии, “первый номер которой вышел 1 июня 1951 года”, whose first issue appeared on 1 June 1951, and states: “«Спортивная панорама» продолжает и множит традиции «Физкультурника Белоруссии»”.[2] That is the outlet's own account. The page retrieved gives no date on which the title Спортивная панорама was adopted, and no independent record of either date was retrieved.

The copyright notice in the site's footer runs “© 2019 - 2026”.[1] That is a notice for the website, not a founding date.

Why does Sportivnaya Panorama matter in Belarus's sport?

It is a sports newspaper that, by its own statement, holds a Ministry of Information registration certificate, sold by subscription through Belpochta, and it reports the Belarusian championships in hockey and biathlon and Dinamo Minsk's games in the Kontinental Hockey League.[2][3][1] It describes its own values as “верность спортивным традициям, оперативность, патриотизм”.[2] Those are its own words.

Ownership. The site's footer names the publishing institution but no founder or owner.[1] The Ministry of Sport's own list places that institution among the organisations subordinate to the Ministry, alongside the national anti-doping agency and the Chizhovka-Arena.[6] No other register entry for it was retrieved.

A monitoring body. RSF's 2026 entry for Belarus, which ranks the country 165th of 180, states in its legal framework section: “The Belarusian authorities have changed laws to give a legal veneer to attacks on press freedom.”[5] RSF's entry does not name this newspaper; its words concern the Belarusian media as a whole.
