What is the PDC Order of Merit?

The Order of Merit is darts' official ranking: a two-year rolling list of prize money won at PDC events. It is a money list rather than a points system — the ranking is literally the amount earned.[1]

What does it cover?

All PDC ranking events, including the World Championship, the majors and the Players Championship circuit; separate Development Tour and Women's Series orders of merit sit beneath it.[1] [2]

Why does it matter?

Because entry and seeding at every PDC major follow directly from Order of Merit position, and tour-card retention depends on it — so a place on the list is the working definition of a professional darts career.[1] [2]
