What is the WSF?

The World Squash Federation is squash's IOC-recognized world governing body — founded in 1967 as the International Squash Rackets Federation, with roughly 150 national federations — and the body that finally secured the sport's Olympic inclusion for Los Angeles 2028.[1] [2]

What does it govern?

The rules and court and equipment standards; the World Team Championships and world junior, masters and doubles events; referee certification; and Olympic squash — working alongside the PSA, which owns the professional tour and its rankings.[1] [3]

Why does it matter?

The WSF is squash's federation of record — national-team selection, world team titles and now Olympic entry run through it and its members.[1] [4]
