What is IFMA?

The International Federation of Muaythai Associations is Muay Thai's world governing body — IOC-recognized since 2021, running the World Championships and Royal World Cup, and notable for preserving the sport's ritual wai khru ram muay as part of sanctioned competition rather than stripping it for standardization.[1] [2]
