Its board page uses the name “Federación Deportiva Peruana de Ciclismo” and its registration page the abbreviation FDPC, while its site header gives the form “Federación Nacional Deportiva Peruana de Ciclismo”.[5][6][3] Its stated vision is “Lograr que el ciclismo crezca y sea un deporte representativo en nuestro país”, and its mission lists aims including the professionalisation of cycling, the internationalisation of its athletes and better communication with riders “a través de sus ligas y clubes”.[4]

What does the FDPC govern or do?

The federation’s site organises its work by discipline: BMX (racing, freestyle park and freestyle flatland), e-cycling, mountain bike (enduro, XCO and downhill), track and road, with a section for judging and its regulations.[3] It affiliates clubs and leagues, after which they can begin the licence process for their riders.[6] Its site also carries an “Aval de Competencias” section for sanctioning events, a results system, a 2026 fee schedule and a list of affiliated clinics.[3]

When was the FDPC founded and where is it based?

The federation gives its address as Av. San Luis N° 1308, VIDENA, Lima, entered through gate 7 of the VIDENA sports complex in San Luis.[3] The member list of the Confederación Panamericana de Ciclismo places it at “La Videna, San Luis, Lima”.[2] Its board page states that the current board, chosen in an election held on 26 October, began its term on 1 January and serves until 31 December 2028; it was made official by the Instituto Peruano del Deporte through Resolución de Consejo Directivo N° 000031-2025-P-CD/IPD.[5]
