What is Liquipedia?
Liquipedia is the reference wiki of competitive esports, operated by the organisation Team Liquid and maintained by contributors title by title — brackets, prize pools, rosters, transfer histories and event archives across the major games.[1]
What does it cover?
Separate wikis for each significant title, each carrying tournament results going back to the game's competitive beginnings, player and team pages with earnings and roster histories, and patch and meta documentation alongside.[1] [2]
Why does it matter?
Because esports has no single governing body and no federation archive: publishers run their own circuits and third parties run the rest. Liquipedia is the de-facto record — but it is a community wiki, so on this site it is treated as a starting point to be checked against organiser announcements, not as a primary source.[1] [2]
