What is Le360 Sport?

Le360 Sport is the sports site of Le360, a Moroccan news site. Le360's own about page describes it as “un média digital marocain généraliste”, states that it is “Edité par Web News sarl”, and describes its launch “dans un premier temps en deux versions, arabophone et francophone”.[1] The French edition's menu runs from politics and economy to culture, media, sport, people, lifestyle and tourism; its Sport entry links to the separate subdomain sport.le360.ma, and its footer reads “Web News / le360.ma” with “Tous droits réservés 2023”.[2]

The about page describes the site as covering “l'essentiel des événements, des sujets, des débats… qui font l'actualité au Maroc”, across politics, the economy, society, culture, the media, sport and celebrity news.[1] That is the publisher's description of itself.

Ownership. The about page states: “Le360, c'est cette belle rencontre entre des professionnels des médias et des investisseurs qui partagent la même passion, la même vision et les mêmes valeurs.” It names no investor. It states that its ethics charter was “Adoptée par la rédaction et l'actionnariat”, and lists among its values: “Nous nous imposons la neutralité comme mode d'emploi éditorial”.[1] Those are the publisher's words; the shareholders of Web News sarl were not found in any document retrieved.

What does Le360 Sport cover?

Sections. The sports site's menu covers football, with sections for the Africa Cup of Nations, the Lions de l'Atlas, the Botola, the Coupe du Trône, the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, and the Spanish, English, Italian, French and German leagues. It also carries athletics, auto-moto, tennis and other sports, with content on equestrian sports, handball and swimming.[3]

Items. On 25 September 2026 it led with Morocco's 2-0 win over Gabon in qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations 2027, and also carried international football items.[3] Its football page on 26 September 2026 carried “Botola Pro: exploit historique du Wydad de Témara, qui fait tomber le WAC pour sa première en D1”, “Botola Pro Inwi: le CODM frappe fort d'entrée en écrasant le DHJ 6-2” and “Botola Pro Inwi: l'Union Touarga s'offre le FUS dans le derby de Rabat”, with an item on ticketing for a Morocco–Ghana match and an item headlined “Mondial 2030: au Cameroun, on souhaite une finale au Maroc”.[4]

The league. It attributed the announcement to the LNFP's president, Abdesslam Belkchour, at the draw held at the Complexe Mohammed VI in Maâmora.[6]

Broadcast rights. On 1 June 2026 the sports site reported that the SNRT had obtained the rights to Morocco's 2026 World Cup matches “à la suite d'un accord conclu avec beIN SPORTS, détenteur des droits du tournoi pour la région Moyen-Orient et Afrique du Nord”, and that they would be shown “en clair sur les chaînes de la TNT nationale”.[7]

Since when has Le360 Sport existed?

Le360's about page describes the site's launch in Arabic and French versions but, as read, gives no launch date.[1] The footer of both the French edition and the sports site carries the notice “Tous droits réservés 2023”, which is a copyright line, not a founding date.[2][3]

No date for the creation of the sports subdomain was found in any document retrieved.

Why does Le360 Sport matter in Morocco's sport?

Le360 Sport is the sports site of a general Moroccan news publisher, on its own subdomain, in French and Arabic, and it reports the league organiser's own announcements: the LNFP's calendar for rounds 18 to 20 of the 2025–26 Botola Pro Inwi, and the start date of the 2026–27 season, attributed to the LNFP's president.[1][5][6] It prints the league's name as “Botola Pro Inwi”.[5]

Reporters Without Borders, whose 2026 index places Morocco at “105/ 180, Score : 50.55”, writes: “Media outlets that support the government benefit from more accessible financial resources.” Its entry, as read, does not name Le360.[8] Those are RSF's words.
