What is International Gymnast?
International Gymnast is a long-running American specialist magazine covering gymnastics at world and Olympic level, in print and online.[1]
What does it cover?
Artistic and rhythmic gymnastics — World Championships, World Cups, the Olympic competition and the American collegiate scene — with results, interviews and technical analysis of routines and scoring.[1] [2]
Why does it matter?
Because gymnastics is judged rather than measured, and understanding a result requires understanding the code of points. Specialist press is where scoring changes and their consequences are explained.[1] [2]
