What are the World Rowing Championships?
The World Rowing Championships are the sport's annual world titles across Olympic and international boat classes — first held in 1962, and returning to Amsterdam's storied Bosbaan on August 24–30, 2026, with Zeidler, Florijn and the Sinković brothers among the stars entered.[1] [2]
Why do they matter?
Between Olympics the Worlds crown the sport — and in pre-Games years they double as the main Olympic qualification regatta, making Worlds results the paper trail of every national team's Olympic road.[2] [3]
