What is the FEI World Cup?

The FEI World Cup is the indoor championship of show jumping and dressage: season-long qualifying leagues across the world's regions feed a springtime Final where the World Cup titles are decided.[1][2]

How does it work?

Riders collect points at league qualifiers — the Western European League's great indoor shows foremost, with North American, Central European and other leagues worldwide — and league standings allocate Final places. The jumping Final has crowned champions since 1979 (Gothenburg), dressage since 1986.[1][2]

Why does it matter?

The World Cup Final is one of jumping's three great individual titles (with the Olympic and world crowns), and league standings document a rider's season against the world's best — the 2025 Final was staged in Basel.[1][2]
