What is the FRMF?

The Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football (FRMF) is the national football association of Morocco. CAF’s member directory gives it under that name, with the website frmf.ma.[1] FIFA’s association profile lists it in English as the “Moroccan Football Association”, in the confederation CAF, with Fouzi Lekjaa as president.[2] CAF’s directory names the same president, with Tarik Najem as general secretary, Hamza El Hajoui as vice-president and Jelloul Ainouch as treasurer.[1]

What does the FRMF govern or do?

The FRMF is responsible for Morocco’s national teams: CAF’s directory entry lists head coaches of the men’s and women’s national teams and a referee coordinator among the federation’s officers.[1] Its own site publishes the standings and results of the Botola Pro and of Botola 2, the two league divisions whose tables it carries.[4] As the member association FIFA lists for Morocco, it is the body through which Moroccan football is represented in FIFA and in CAF.[2]

When was the FRMF founded and where is it based?

CAF’s member directory gives 1955 as the year the federation was founded, and records its affiliation to CAF in 1959 and to FIFA in 1960 — three separate dates.[1] The same directory places the federation in Rabat, at “Secteur 11, Angle rue Arroz et rue Arram, Hay Ryad”, and lists [email protected] as its contact address.[1]

How is the FRMF recognised?

FIFA. FIFA’s association profile lists the federation as Morocco’s member association and places it in CAF.[2]

CAF. The Confederation of African Football groups its member associations in six zones — UNAF, WAFU A, WAFU B, UNIFFAC, CECAFA and COSAFA — and lists Morocco in the UNAF zone of North Africa.[3] CAF’s own entry for Morocco names the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football and gives its CAF affiliation as 1959 and its FIFA affiliation as 1960.[1]

What does the FRMF organise?

The federation’s site carries the results of the Botola Pro and Botola 2 and the current Botola Pro table.[4] The table it published in October 2026 included clubs abbreviated WAC, RCA, FAR, FUS, RSB, MAS, KAC and HUSA, among others.[4] National-team football sits with the federation as well: the men’s and women’s head coaches appear among its officers in CAF’s directory.[1]

Who are its members?

The clubs in the league tables the federation publishes compete under its authority; the Botola Pro table it carried in October 2026 listed sides abbreviated KACM, MAT, WAC, OCK, RCA, RSB, FAR, DHJ, FUS, CAK, HUSA, CRA, KAC, IZK, MAS and OCS.[4] The FRMF is itself a member body: CAF lists it among its member associations in the UNAF zone, and FIFA lists it as Morocco’s member association.[3][2]
