What is Tuttosport?

Tuttosport is an Italian daily newspaper devoted to sport, published in Turin. Sport Network, which sells its advertising, gives its address as Corso Svizzera 185, Turin, names Nuova Editoriale Sportiva of the Amodei group as publisher, and records four editions: national, north-west, Lombardy and Sicily.[2]

Sport Network describes itself as the advertising concession dedicated to sport that manages and controls Tuttosport's advertising sales, and lists the paper among its brands alongside Corriere dello Sport, Auto, Autosprint, Guerin Sportivo, Motosprint and InMoto.[3]

The title appears in the ADS directory of audited Italian titles, which records periodicity and publisher for each paper it covers, and which is what makes the circulation series below comparable with the other two national sports dailies.[5]

Turin is the third of the three cities in which Italy's national sports dailies are produced, after Milan and Rome.

What does Tuttosport cover?

Tuttosport is a general sports daily. Association football and Serie A are the recurring subjects, with motorsport, basketball, volleyball, cycling and tennis among the other sports Italian dailies carry.

The four-edition structure Sport Network records — national, north-west, Lombardy and Sicily — is the paper's own statement of where its regional coverage is differentiated, and is the clearest documented indication of the geography it serves from its Turin base.[2]

Its sales move with the football calendar in the same way as the other sports dailies. Primaonline's reading of the July 2026 ADS returns, published on 11 September 2026, records Tuttosport and Corriere dello Sport-Stadio as posting the largest percentage increases in the whole survey that month, and attributes the movement to the summer transfer window.[1]

How large is Tuttosport's audience?

Primaonline, reporting the ADS returns on 11 September 2026, gave Tuttosport a combined print and digital circulation of 20,784 copies for July 2026, 5.7 per cent above June.[1] ADS is the body that audits Italian newspaper and magazine circulation and publishes monthly averages by title.[5]

The December 2025 report of the same ADS series, published on 11 February 2026, carried figures for La Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport-Stadio but did not carry one for Tuttosport, so no December 2025 reading for this title is stated here.[6]

No brand-level digital audience figure for the title could be retrieved for this page. Print and digital audiences in Italy are measured through Audicom's integrated research, which consolidated the former Audiweb and Audipress services.[4]

Since when has Tuttosport existed?

Sport Network states that Tuttosport was founded in 1945 by Renato Casalbore.[2] That is the newspaper's founding; the publishing company now named on the same page, Nuova Editoriale Sportiva, is a separate entity and its own date of constitution could not be established from a source retrieved for this page.

The present ownership is later again. ADC Group reported on 17 December 2020 that the Amodei group is the publisher of both Tuttosport and Corriere dello Sport-Stadio, with Sport Network as the group's advertising concession.[7] Founding in 1945, publication by Nuova Editoriale Sportiva and ownership within the Amodei group are three different facts and are kept apart here.

Placed against the other two national sports dailies, 1945 is the latest of the three founding dates: the Milan title dates its first issue to 1896 and the Rome title was founded in Bologna in 1924. The Rome title's present masthead is later still, dating from a merger in 1977, so founding dates and masthead dates do not run in the same order across the three papers.

Why does Tuttosport matter in Italy's sport?

Italy has three national daily newspapers devoted to sport, published in three separate cities. Tuttosport is the Turin title, and on the July 2026 ADS returns the three stood at 112,693, 34,852 and 20,784 copies.[1]

The three cities are not three proprietors. Two of them — this paper and the Rome daily — are published within the Amodei group and represented by the same advertising concession, while the Milan title sits in RCS MediaGroup.[3][7] The structure is better described as three mastheads and two proprietors than as three independent papers.

The daily press operates in a market whose television side is measured in far larger numbers: Serie A's first half of the 2025-26 season drew more than 139 million cumulative television viewers across DAZN and Sky on Auditel's total audience system, as reported on 16 January 2026.[8] The circulation and audience figures measure different things and are not comparable with one another; both are given with their sources.
