What are PDGA Player Ratings?
The Professional Disc Golf Association's numerical skill rating: every round played at a PDGA-sanctioned event is converted into a rating based on the scores of rated players in the same round, and a member's rating is the weighted average of their recent rounds.[1]
What does it cover?
Every PDGA member worldwide, professional and amateur, with a full round-by-round history and event results attached to each player's profile.[1] [2]
Why does it matter?
Because it makes disc golf scores comparable across courses of very different difficulty — the problem golf solves with handicaps — and because division eligibility and event seeding run off the rating, so it functions as the sport's licence as well as its ranking.[1] [2]
