What is Panorama Sport?

Panorama Sport is the magazine of the Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Sammarinese (CONS). Its site, panoramasport.sm, describes itself as “La rivista del Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Sammarinese”.[1] The CONS's own site links it from its media menu.[5] The site's contact page states: “Panorama Sport Web è il portale del Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Sammarinese dedicato allo sport sammarinese e all'attività delle 34 Federazioni Sportive affiliate.” It adds: “Le notizie e gli approfondimenti sono pubblicati dall'ufficio stampa del CONS.”[7] The figure of 34 federations is the portal's own. The CONS states: “Panorama Sport è la rivista annuale del Comitato Olimpico che viene pubblicata nei primi giorni del nuovo anno.”[2]

Ownership. The CONS publishes it, and states: “Il direttore editoriale di Panorama Sport è il Segretario Generale del CONS Eros Bologna, la parte esecutiva è affidata all'Ufficio Stampa con la collaborazione di tutti gli uffici del CONS.”[2] The publisher's status is set by statute. Article 6(1) of the sports law, Legge 30 settembre 2015 n.149, in the coordinated text updated to 13 May 2024, provides that “è istituito, sotto la vigilanza della Segreteria di Stato con delega allo Sport, il CONS, Ente pubblico ed autonomo, dotato di personalità giuridica”.[4] The register of journalistic titles kept by San Marino's Autorità Garante per l'Informazione, as retrieved on 26 September 2026, does not list Panorama Sport.[6]

What does Panorama Sport cover?

The CONS describes the annual issue as having two parts: an institutional part, with greetings from sports leaders, sports-policy programmes, projects and San Marino's participation in the Olympic Games, the Mediterranean Games and the Games of the Small States of Europe; and a second part reviewing the season of each affiliated federation, with photographs and rankings.[2]

The site also publishes news items. Its menu lists sections for current affairs, federations, interviews and publications. On 26 September 2026 its latest items, dated 7 to 24 September 2026, covered among other things a rhythmic gymnastics tournament, the San Marino Special Cup, youth tennis, the bocce youth squad, a Special Olympics swimming event in Malta, taekwondo, model aircraft, figure skating and two Sammarinese teams at the Chess Olympiad in Samarkand.[1] Its coverage is of Sammarinese federations and athletes; it is the Olympic committee's own account of them.

How large is Panorama Sport's audience?

No print run, circulation or web audience figure for Panorama Sport was retrieved, and neither the CONS's pages nor the magazine's site that were read publishes one.[2][1] No audience-measurement body for San Marino was found among the sources retrieved.

The CONS makes the issues available as digital files on its publications page.[2][3]

Since when has Panorama Sport existed?

The CONS's Panorama Sport page offers issues for every year from 2009 to 2025.[2] Its publications page also links a separate archive of older publications.[3] No founding date for the magazine was retrieved, so the 2009 issue is the earliest the CONS offers online, not a date of first publication.

Why does Panorama Sport matter in San Marino's sport?

It is the publication in which San Marino's Olympic committee, the statutory body that under Article 6(1) of the sports law “riunisce, raggruppa, coordina e vigila su tutte le Federazioni Sportive Nazionali (FSN) e le Discipline Sportive Associate (DSA) affiliate”, reviews each federation's season in an annual issue.[4][2] Its site was publishing federation news in September 2026, and the portal gives the CONS press office's address for sending press releases.[1][7]

Its accounts are the committee's own and are attributed as such.
