What is the IBU Datacenter?

The International Biathlon Union's results system — the most granular in endurance sport, publishing course splits, range times, and hit-and-miss counts for every shooting bout of every athlete in every race.[1]

What does it cover?

The World Cup, the IBU Cup, the World Championships, junior and youth championships, and the Olympic races, with athlete career histories built from them.[1] [2]

Why does it matter?

Because biathlon results are meaningless without the shooting: a finishing position is a compound of ski speed and range accuracy, and the Datacenter is the only place both halves are published for every competitor.[1] [2]
