What is FloCheer?
FloCheer is the cheerleading and dance channel of FloSports, the subscription streaming network. It is a rights-holder and results hub rather than a newsroom: live streams and replays of the sport’s major championships, with articles, photo albums and results behind a subscription.[1] [3]
What does it cover?
All-star and school cheer and dance — The Cheerleading Worlds and The Dance Worlds, the Pop Warner national championships, Dance Expo, the Pro Cheer League, The Dance MAJORS and more — as live video, results and rankings.[1] [2]
What is its reach and standing?
No subscriber figure is published. Its standing is contractual: FloCheer streams The Cheerleading Worlds 2026 live (24–27 April, ESPN Wide World of Sports), described by trade coverage as exclusive; and in September 2016 it signed an eight-year partnership with Varsity Spirit — the dominant event operator — covering the national high-school, CHEERSPORT and NCA/NDA championships with a 50,000-video archive. Whether that deal has been renewed is not stated. Not federation-owned; commercially tied to the organiser.[2] [3] [4]
Since when?
FloSports launched FloCheer around 2016; its About page is no longer live and no founding date is stated. The Varsity Spirit partnership dates from 21 September 2016.[3]
Why does it matter in cheerleading?
Because cheerleading has no independent news outlet, and the record of a Worlds placing is the organiser’s and the streamer’s. FloCheer is where that record is published — promotional in register, but the one that exists.[1] [2]
