What is the BWF World Rankings?
The Badminton World Federation's official world rankings, published across the sport's five disciplines — men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles.[1]
What does it cover?
Ranking points earned across the BWF World Tour's tiered events, continental championships and the World Championships, on a rolling window, together with separate junior and para-badminton rankings.[1] [2]
Why does it matter?
Because the ranking governs access: which tour events a player may enter, where they are seeded, and — through the Race to the Olympics list — whether they qualify for the Games at all.[1] [2]
