What is Artmotion?

Artmotion is a cable, IPTV and broadcasting company in Kosovo. Its site carries the line “ARTMOTION © 2026. All rights reserved.”[1] Its about page states: “Artmotion është kompani e licencuar për të ofruar shërbimet e Internetit, televizionit dixhital, IPTV/OTT”. It also states: “Artmotion është pronar dhe zotërues me të drejta të plota të 19 TV Kanaleve me kontent të ndryshëm”.[2]

Its home page describes it as “lider në tregun e telekomunikacionit dhe medias në Kosovë”.[1] That is the company's description of itself. The about page adds that it has “mbi 300 kanale te tjera”.[2] No ownership record for the company was retrieved.

The regulator classes it as a distribution operator. The Independent Media Commission's annual work report for 2019, addressed to the Assembly, refers to “operatori i shpërndarjes ARTMOTION”.[7]

What does Artmotion cover?

Its sport page names channels Sport 1 to Sport 6. It lists LaLiga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and the Coppa Italia, and the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. Domestic football is listed as the “Superliga e Kosovës në Futboll”, and basketball includes the FBK championship, FIBA competitions and the NBA. The page also names Formula 1, MotoGP, UFC and Wimbledon.[3] It states that it offers “25 kanale sportive me mbi 120 kompeticione e gara” across “mbi 80 degëve sportive”.[3] Those are the company's own figures. The page gives no rights terms.

Two rights announcements carry dates. On 27 May 2025 the company described itself as “transmetuesit ekskluziv të FIFA Club World Cup 2025” in Kosovo.[4] On 10 August 2026 it announced that the new UEFA Nations League cycle and the EURO 2028 qualifiers would be shown “ekskluzivisht në Artmotion dhe Klan Kosova”.[5]

How large is Artmotion's audience?

No subscriber figure appears on its about page.[2] The Media Ownership Monitor Kosovo states: “There is no agency providing public data on media audience measurements in Kosovo.”[8]

The monitor gives market figures for internet service, not television. It states: “IPKO, Kujtesa, Artmotion, Telkos, Telekom Kosova are among the largest internet service providers, together controlling about 86% of the fixed broadband market measured by subscribers.” It adds: “The three largest operators—IPKO, Kujtesa, and Artmotion—each control more than 20% of the market.”[9] The monitor gives no data year for those figures; its page was last changed on 12 December 2023.

Reporters Without Borders writes in its 2026 entry that Kosovo's “highly concentrated TV sector is dominated by private channels based in Pristina”. It does not name Artmotion.[6]

Since when has Artmotion existed?

The company states: “U themelua në vitin 2004 duke pasur në fokus ofrimin e shërbimeve nga fusha e teknologjisë për biznese”.[2] No second source for the date was retrieved, so it is given as the company's own account.

Why does Artmotion matter in Kosovo's sport?

Its announcement of 10 August 2026 names it, alongside Klan Kosova, as the exclusive carrier of the national team's Nations League and EURO 2028 qualifying matches.[5] Its sport page lists the domestic Superliga and the FBK basketball championship among the competitions it carries.[3]

Each rights statement is the company's own. The Club World Cup item concerns a finished 2025 tournament, and the national-team item gives no term.[4][5]

Its sport retransmission has been before the regulator. The Independent Media Commission's 2019 annual report records that at its meeting of 21 March 2019 it considered a complaint by the distribution operator IPKO against Artmotion concerning the retransmission of English Premier League and French league football. It records the outcome: “Komisioni nuk ka gjetur shkelje të Rregullores KPM-2016/01 nga operatori i shpërndarjes ARTMOTION ndaj së cilës është parashtruar ankesa dhe ka vendosur që ankesa të refuzohet si e pabazuar.”[7]
