What is Premier Padel?
Premier Padel is the official global tour of professional padel — launched in 2022 by Qatar Sports Investments with the FIP, and the sport's sole world tour since absorbing the rival World Padel Tour in 2024. The 2026 season spans 26 tournaments in 18 countries, from the Majors to new stops in London and Pretoria.[1] [2]
How does it work?
Events are tiered — four Majors (Qatar, Italy at the Foro Italico, France at Roland-Garros, Mexico) above P1 and P2 tournaments — with men's and women's draws at every stop, entry and seeding by the FIP Rankings, and the top eight pairs reaching the season-ending Finals in Barcelona each December.[2] [3]
Why does it matter?
Premier Padel is where the sport's elite plays — a tour card and Major draws are professional padel's defining credentials — and its arrival in legendary tennis venues signals the sport's global ambition.[2] [3]
