What are the HYROX World Championships?
The HYROX World Championships close each season with the format's global final — the 2026 edition ran at Stockholm's Strawberry Arena in June, where Dylan Scott took the Elite 15 men's title and Alyssa McElheny, a marathon runner in her fifth solo HYROX, won the women's elite race.[1] [2]
How do athletes qualify?
By time: season results at HYROX events worldwide set qualification standards for the championship divisions, with the Elite 15 an invited field of the fastest — a straightforward, published ladder from a first Open race to a world final.[2] [3]
